Joko ‘Jokowi’ Widodo’s running mate, Jusuf Kalla, hit the campaign trail in East Indonesia on 11 June.  Sofyan Syamsul (link is external), a local photographer, joined the crowd when the long-time campaigner (he served as vice president in 2004-2009 under Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono’s administration) visited her home town of Makassar.
