In this Talking Indonesia podcast episode, I explore these issues with Wawan Mas’udi, PhD candidate at the University of Melbourne’s Asia Institute, writing on Jokowi’s early political career as mayor of Solo, and a lecturer in the department of politics and government at Gadjah Mada University.
